The Modular Company (TMC)

Daz.com started out as a replacement for freedb.org when it looked like that project was going to be abandoned due to internal struggles between the developers. We took a few months to clean up the freedb.org database and we added a lot of structure to it. We also added the ability to add notes and pictures as well as album art and samples. After that it took many months of adding and editing content by lots of users to make daz.com in to what it is today, a very lively and interesting multimedia encyclopedia about music.
